Mushindo Wado Kai tournament
Dudley Shukokai Karate Club attended the mushindo wado kai tournament held at Cannock leisure centre and hosted by Vince Parker.
Adam
Zuibrzynski secured himself a place in the  boys 13-15 kata division but was narrowly beaten and had to settle for the silver medal. The adult team kata also won the silver after Kyle Westwood had to quickly replace Daniel Read.
Newcomer Louis Brierley performed some excellent kata to give him the bronze medal at his first competition, Sam Ozwell, Liam Jackson and Chris Whyte to name but a few also performed exceptional katas.
The fighting was next and Dudley fought excellently and we were rewarded with quite a few medals and trophies.
Hilary Jordan and Lesley Ozwell had a super battle but it was to be Hilarys day and she was crowned ladies champion.
Daniel Read fought some excellent rounds to secure his place in the final of the boys 15-17 division. Daniel fought very tight and the leading hand (Mikon) was to prove a winner as he went on to victory.
Bronze medals in the girls teams, boys teams and ladies teams helped towards the total medal winnings of the day.
Newcomers Zara Murad and Emily Woolvin didn't disappoint either with excellent fighting in the girls 13-15 and pee wee division with Emily winning the Silver in the pee wee division.
Many thanks again to club coach Greg Haywood for doing such a fabulous job coaching and making sure everyone was on the right area at the right time.
Another excellant result for Dudley S.K.C
