He was an assistant coach and instructor for 5 years with the Amateur Martial Arts Association.
Greg has attended courses under Ticky Donovan the then England team coach and was certified by The Martial Arts Commission.
Greg is hoping to build students confidence, to motivate them and encourage young children to take part and enjoy Karate as he did when he was young and hopefully inspire them to achieve their goals in participating in competitions and help them towards achieving their belt gradings and onwards towards their Black belts.

Sensei Greg Haywood (1st dan) joins Dudley Shukokai Karate club as the assistant instructor, club coach. He started Karate at the age of 9 years and obtained his Black belt in Kyokushinkai Karate at the age of 15 years in 1983.
