I was on the SKF squad from 1990, competing in various tournaments including the 1990 EKC Black belt National Championships representing the SKF at Crystal Palace. Competed in the 1991 World Championships (Switzerland), 1993 World Championships (Portugal) where we had two Men's kumite teams.
In the 1990 SKF Nationals in Brown belt kata I achieved a Gold, the same year in the Shukokai Cup, I achieved a Silver in the Brown belt kata.
I retired from competitions at the end of 2003 after European Championships in Germany. I have continued training but left the SKF in 2005 and now training with DSKC since November 2008.
