Dudley Shukokai Karate Club - F.E.K.O Ireland Championships Carlow

A squad of 22 set off for Ireland and there were 9 members from Dudley Shukokai representing F.E.K.O England. We began the day with wins in the parent and child kata and the team kata events, there were also medals in the individual kata events, the fighting events were always going to be difficult as there were excellent fighters from Ireland and Hungary to name but a couple of the stronger countries.
However F.E.K.O fought hard and there were many wins for the squad and for Dudley Shukokai members. Many thanks to Carlow Karate club for hosting such a well run tournament. Special thanks to Patsy and Shelia for all their hard work. Many thanks also to squad coach Josh Johnson and to all the staff at the Dolmen Hotel, see you all next year!!!!!!
